Free AI prompt builder

Answer a few quick questions and get a clear, well-structured prompt for ChatGPT or Claude in about 30 seconds. Copy it, paste it in, and get a better answer the first time.

1. Start from a template (optional)

One tap fills in the form. Then change the [brackets] to your details.

2. Describe what you need

The prompt on the right updates as you type.

3. Your prompt

Next: open ChatGPT or Claude (a free account works), paste the prompt, and replace any [brackets] you haven't filled in. Not quite right? Reply with a follow-up like "make it shorter" or "more formal."

How it works

  1. Say what you want. One plain sentence is enough. Add who it's for if it matters.
  2. Pick a role, tone, format, and length. These are the details beginners usually leave out, and they make the biggest difference to the answer.
  3. Copy and paste. The builder adds the rules that keep answers honest, including asking the AI to check with you before guessing.

It follows the same 5-part prompt formula we use for every prompt on this site: role, task, context, format, and tone. Nothing you type is sent anywhere; the prompt is built right in your browser.
